2024 / shattered 24" monitor

Synopsis

This 24" computer monitor was shattered during a move. It no longer conveys information, but whatever it tries to project is reduced to lines and abstract patterns. The screen itself also continuously changes, sometimes disintegrating and at other times flaring up. The audience is encouraged to interact with the screen by touching it and pressing on its cracks. Ultimately, it is a playful study of an object living on beyond its intended use until it completely dies.
